The 2016 International Builder’s Show winner of the best kitchen product ended in a tie between an innovative refrigeration system from Thermador and a cool technology from Lowe’s that helps you ‘build’ your kitchen from scratch.
Thermador’s Freedom Collection won for the flexibility it offers to customize and integrate your preservation needs into your kitchen design. The collection was designed to meet your needs in specified work zones giving an instant custom feel to your kitchen. Gone are the days of all-in-one refrigeration placement that drives the placement of task stations within the kitchen.

This culinary preservation center freely allows you to build your fridge from scratch by placing each unit according to your design and need. All models are stand alone independent and modular units that can also be installed in side by side combinations or with fully flush integration into surrounding kitchen cabinetry.

Another custom feature is the availability of 18″, 24″, 30″ and 36″ widths. This cutting-edge kitchen design also features Theater LED lighting where lighting fades in when the unit is opened from the front and sides.

Freedom’s door panels can be adjusted horizontally, vertically, forward and backward to ensure an ultra-fit within a 25-inch deep cabinet. Bottom freezers are equipped with flat stainless steel panels as well as Professional or Masterpiece handles.

What’s not to love about the Thermador Freedom Collection?!
