This inspiring design project deserves a shout out. A historical treasure in the Atlanta area (Buckhead), it was nearly destroyed by fire, razed to its foundation in 2014 according to its owner, Gerry Hull.
Originally designed by architect Neel Reid, the restoration was placed into the hands of D. Stanley Dixon Architect firm who would handle this restoration and transformation with “humble respect for Reid’s ‘classical, restrained and elegant’ precedence originally intended.”

The restored home reflects the scale and proportion that Reid is known for while the architectural details draw you in with awe.
From ashes to beauty, this is a historical restoration project that was handled in the dignity it deserved.
