Kitchen Countertop Trends: Granite Not the Only Option!

High-end design is making a statement in countertop trends and granite, although still leading the pack has strong competition from other materials according to Reviewed.com and I recommend become a part of your consideration before updating or building your new kitchen.

During the International EuroCucina 2014 Show in Milan, Italy a large variety of granite alternatives were on display and we would love for you to take a look at six finishes that include tempered glass, ceramics, nanotech materials, wood, stainless steel and tile. Have fun considering these options:

Tempered Glass-Thick, translucent material is tough, tactile and easy to clean. Offered in a variety of colors by Leicht.

Ceramics-Described as the “closest thing you can get to indestructible.” The material is scratch-resistant, easy to clean and cool to the touch.

  1. The “Nanotech Matte Countertop by Arpa Industriale” is gorgeous. It has a smooth, clean look (and the appearance of sturdy yet soft to the touch). This would definitely be one of my first choices. Thanks for the inspiration.
