Described by the brand as “a gently shaded sage that quietly anchors while encouraging creative expression through color,” it seems to command a peaceful experience upon entering.

Praised for offering a corresponding paint palette of 13 colors, coordination from room to room is simplified for connected spaces.

The Color of the Year came about when one team members floral study was enlightened to how the flower stem serves as a metaphor for how we approach bringing color into the home. According to Andrea Magno, the director of color marketing and development at Benjamin Moore; and, as a result, they surmised that, similar to a stem, green hues can be used as a bridge to bolder or paler colors, allowing the design to blossom.
