Fall Design Color Trends

Fall is in the air and our homes need a little inspiration to begin the decor transition. Now that the new color forecasts have been revealed for next year we can take our cue from some of the experts in the field of color trends.

Color has become more of a lifestyle rather than a seasonal adjustment. Homeowners want a color plan that is less rigid, more expressive of their personality and that works throughout the year. This lends itself to year-round hues that offer a back drop against your favorite pieces that can be tweaked for seasonal delight.

Deeper yet warmer hues are leading the color trends when you take a look at Pantone’s and Sherwin-Williams 2014 Color of the Year. Benjamin Moore decided to break away from the pack as you can see below:
